Opulent Pools are swimming pool builders Heathfield Sussex. For this project, the swimming pool was to be positioned on a hill. The client had the option to either have half the swimming pool out of the ground or to set the whole swimming pool area into the ground at garden level and build a retaining wall to keep back the surrounding earth.
All the soil was to be left on site and levelled to the existing garden area. Once the pool was dug we could dig the pool and then start constructing the outdoor swimming pool.
We then rendered the pool with SIKA waterproofer and finished with all-around mosaic tiles.
The pool was to have an automatic slatted cover submersed and housed in an underground pit.
For the retaining wall, we then used 19th-century bricks found on the land from an unused outbuilding.
Once the swimming pool was complete, decking was used to fill in the surrounding areas.
