The first day on a project is always exciting and this was no exception! We spend the day meticulously checking the project requirements with our client, ensuring we meet their every expectation. We go the extra mile to clarify even the minutest detail, including the exact location for the pool.
With the location of the pool decided, we start the excavation process. With a few small trees and shrubs in the way, we carefully and considerately remove and reposition them. We always ensure minimum disruption to the environment in which we are working.
With our 2-day excavation complete, it is time to install the insulation, shuttering and reinforcing in preparation for the concrete shell.
We maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and tidiness, keeping our site orderly and shipshape at all stages of the construction process. We are always mindful of our clients and make sure their home and grounds remain liveable and workable spaces, with minimum impact on their daily lives.
The shuttering is now in place within the shell. Our client opts for full insulation, a decision based on the knowledge that they will be heating their pool for many years to come. A norsup air source heat pump will do the job nicely.
We decide to construct a full retaining wall around the pool to ensure the new paving remains perfectly level. The pool has a constant depth of 1.5 metres. Our attention to detail always guarantees an exquisite finish.
We introduce a full-length bench to create a distinct social area, great for kids to play in and adults to socialise in. We pride ourselves in such flourishes of functionality within our pool designs.
The next stage of our project sees the installation of the surrounding retaining wall. Once finished, the site is ready for paving.
With the pool fully rendered and our MOT Type 1 surround compacted into place, the paving process can begin.
Our client opts for the refined beauty of natural buff Indian sandstone with sandstone bullnose coping stones expertly positioned around the pristine pool’s edge.
With perfect paving complete, the elegance of Ezarri Ebanos tiles offer a luxurious finish.
Once our tiles are given a mild acid wash, the sleek stainless-steel fittings are installed. It is now time to fill the pool up and install the safety cover.
